Bishop Alexander is a graduate of the University of Alaska, with a BA in Physical Education and earned a master’s from Chesapeake Bible Seminary in Religious Education and Christian Ministry. He also achieved a Doctorate in Theology from Trinity Theology Seminary in Miami, FL. Bishop Alexander is a life coach, writer and author. He is a tremendous motivational speaker and community leader. His heart is feeding the poor and needy. Bishop Alexander is a retired SFC military policeman of the US Army, and retired Deputy Sheriff School Resource Officer, Citrus County Sheriff's Office. He served as Unit Chaplain as well as Company Chaplain while assigned to the 82nd Airborne Corps during the war in Desert Shield/Desert Storm, In 2004 Bishop Douglas was given the keys to the city of Inverness. Bishop Douglas Alexander was awarded Citizen of the Year for 2016. Voted “Best of Best” clergy in 2020-2021. He was inducted into the Florida Veterans Hall of Fame in April, 2022.
